The song “Clear,” is by Nigerian singer and songwriter, Portable. The song “Clear,” takes a swipe at Kogbagidi; Portable’s former manager. When you check the lyrics and the translation; you will agree with me that it is a swipe at Kogbagidi.
What is the song Clear by Portable all about?
Portable in the song “Clear,” seems to be narrating his experience with his former manager, Kogbagidi who according to him was ripping him off. This according to Portable made him abscond or clear out or go away from him.
In essence, Portable in the song “Clear,” is advising people to be careful of cheats; those who want to swindle or rip them off. He is also advising people to be careful about the people they trust, so they don’t betray them.
Lastly, he also brags about his wealth and says he only associates with the rich. Anyone that is not rich; Portable says “Clear out,” that is “Go away,” from him (I guess!)
