Music Review: “Bloody Samaritan,” Remix by Ayra Starr ft Kelly Rowland
“Bloody Samaritan,” is a song by Nigerian singer, and songwriter, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe aka Ayra Starr. The original version of the song premiered over a year ago. It is a song off her “19 and Dangerous,” album.
This is the remix and it features an American singer and songwriter, Kelendria Trene Rowland professionally known as Kelly Rowland.
The artists sang in standard English and pidgin. There is not much difference between the original version and the remix. The only obvious difference was the removal of Ayra Starr’s verse 2 which paved the way for Kelly Rowland’s verse.
What is the meaning of “Bloody Samaritan?”
The use of “bloody,” was used to emphasize how much of a Samaritan she is and nothing related to blood-shedding or cruelty. In essence, I am bloody, that is I am “clearly,” a Samaritan. Say that with some aggression. #Winks

She brags about her musical prowess and other skills, and how courageous she is in the pursuit of her dreams. She says she is full of talent and ready to explode anytime.
She further says she would stay upbeat and resilient, and no mean-spirited words or actions would ruin her positive vibe or dampen her spirit.
Kelly Rowland on the other hand sings about her huge blessings. She also says she alone has the power to make herself feel good mot letting words or people’s actions get to her; she shut outs mean-spirited people, hypocrites, and critiques.
Kelly also sings about how true she is to herself. According to her, she does things that make her happy. She says no one can dampen her spirit because she is highly spirited.
