What is the song “Common Person” by Burnaboy all about?

A common person is a regular kind of person with no influence. A common person is always under a person that is superior and takes others from such a person.

In the song “Common Person,” by Burnaboy, the artist says even though he may be a commoner and he may be under someone or control, his happiness isn’t. His happiness is solely his responsibility and no one can take that away from him.

In essence, it is your right to make yourself happy; no one can make you happy better than yourself.

He also points out the importance of humility regardless of the position one may find him or herself.
