Who sang the song Monalisa?

Monalisa is a collaborative work of Nigerian Music producer, Sarz and singer/songwriter Lojay.

However, Jay Livingston and Ray Evans wrote a foreign song titled Monalisa for the Paramount Pictures movie “Captain Carey.” There is no correlation between the two songs.

The Review

I could swear that the first time I heard this song, I thought a lady sang it, but the video says otherwise. It is a guy, and his name is Lojay.

What is the song Monalisa by Lojay and Sarz about?

It is a love song, but more of possessive love

The line ” Cause this your miliki for front na for me,” connotes possession.

The song has a s_xual undertone. “Majo,” a Yoruba word that translates to “Keep dancing,” may be referring to s_xual moves. “Go down on” me has s_xual undertones.

Moving on, in the song, the artist eulogizes a lady’s physique and uses a coca-cola bottle shape to qualify her. Her physique is so tempting, and he is unable to control the effect it has on him. He desires to have her as his woman without sharing her with anyone, and if she already has someone she is dating, he is willing to fight to make her his woman.

What does coca body mean?

Coca body refers to a physique that is exactly like the shape of a coca-cola bottle. In essence, it means a lady that has a coca-cola bottle shape.

A lady with a coca-cola bottle shape usually has more bust and hip than the waist. If the bust and hips are 30 inches, the waist will be 18 inches. In essence, she is likely to have big boobs and hips but a skinny waist.

Lyrically: The song comes in two verses. The pre-chorus and chorus were taken twice each. Although, the chorus was doubled before another verse, making it to be sung four times.

The lyrics are not detailed; quite succinct, weak but catchy. The chorus, in particular, is catchy. The lyrics have a s_xual undertone, especially when the artist sang, “Cause this your miliki for front na for me,” one can tell that he was referring to a woman’s frontside.

View the lines in the song that connote s_x below:

Go down on me oh, with your coca body (Go down on me with your coca body)

‘Cause this your miliki for fronti na for me (Because this milk on your chest is for me)

Also, the chorus is suggestive. View below

Pre-chorus

Baby corner, corner

 Waka-waka, when you enter omalicha

 Baby corner, corner

Will you give me sugar, wahala-hala? (Will you give me sugar?)

The artist used a lot of slang that may connote s_x. He also used a word in Yoruba that may connote s_x. For instance, “Majo,| may mean dance when translated to English, but as regards this song, it may mean movements of ladies when having s_x.

What do you all think?

However, the lyrics are in array. The artist sang basically in pidgin. But he used a Yoruba word in the chorus, “Majo” which means “Dance,” in English.

Vocal: The artist has a clear and original vocal. But he sounded feminine.

Melody: The beat is tuneful and catchy, especially the intro. The major instruments used in this song include maracas, conga, drum, piano, violin, electric guitar and clarinet.
