“Contraband” is a song by Nigerian singer and songwriter, Bella Shmurda.
The song premiered over a week ago. Bella sang in pidgin and Yoruba, a Nigerian Language.
Purple haze means marijuana while contraband means to import or export something termed illegal.
“Contraband” is one of the songs off his “Hypertension,” album.

In the song “Contraband” by Bella Shmurda, the artist sings about different things. First off, he sings about his marijuana addiction, and his boldness to import and smoke marijuana even though they are categorized as illegal in the country. He however says he does these things peacefully but on
a low key without the fear of being caught. He hopes that the government t will legalize it as he buys it for himself and some beautiful ladies with him.
Bella also sings about him being about money and getting more money. He also says he lives by the choices he makes. He cares less or is not troubled by what anybody says or thinks of him. He lives his life the way he wants without letting anyone involve themselves in his matter, force a certain behavior on him, or force him to live by their advice.
Lastly, Bella sings about his desire to keep singing.
